Experience

Mike McDowall is a chartered architect with over 30 years experience in the building industry.

Over the last 15 years Mike has specialised in construction health and safety, working in a full-time senior capacity as planning supervisor and safety consultant for Atkins and C-MIST.

As estates development project manager at Stevenson College Edinburgh he was responsible for their 3-year, £10.4m Redevelopment programme which included extensive refurbishment works and the construction of the much acclaimed 'Music Box' which opened in May 2007.

As well as being a skilled project manager with membership of the Association for Project Management (APM), Mike is additionally a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and a Fellow of the Association for Project Safety, registered as a CDM Co-ordinator.
